The first No-Hitter I have seen couldn’t have been more amazing! I have never experienced so much emotion watching a professional sport. Yah, being a Niner fan I’ve experienced a few Super Bowl championships…sure, I’ve seen the Kings come agonizingly close to winning the NBA Western Conference title…and of course, feeling anxiously ecstatic as the Giants held a comfortable lead in game 6 of the ’02 World Series leading 3 games to 2. But this. An event so relatively small in a such a long season. The range of emotions that came across me was overwhelming…I couldn’t sit still from the seventh inning on…my palms were profusely sweating…I don’t even think I could recall how many superstitious thoughts were running through my head. This is why I love Baseball.

Jonanthan Sanchez’s no-hitter for the Giants was the first in 33 years. And as unlikely as this is considering the other powerhouses in the Giants’ rotation, it can only mean one thing…he just really pissed off Cain and Lincecum that he was the first.

Will we see three no-hitters from the same team in one season? That would be perfect.
